Accountant / Product Costing Specialist

For our client, a worldwide company with stable position on the market, we are currently looking for a suitable candidate for the position of
Accountant / Product Costing Specialist
Ref: A.PCS/Wr/8.15
Place of work: Wrocław
Key responsibilities:
• Executing the transactional SAP Processes that generate Product costing and liaising with relevant parties to ensure Product costs are only released when accurate.
• For Finished Goods, review new cost vs previous cost and where material difference, contact person (buyer/sourcing) who input the various costing elements to verify input & see if corrections needed. Release costs that are ok to be released per timetable.
• For Manufactured items, send out the costing results to Manufacturing to ensure they are accurate & action their feedback by either releasing the cost or rerunning the costing.
• Answering questions from Local Finance related to costing, by emails primarily.
Criterions:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics
• Experience in product costing, basic accounting especially credits and debits
• Fluency in English
• Familiarity with SAP system
• Ability to analyze and math calculation
• Ability to prioritize workload
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Professional Accountancy qualification very welcome
• Committed to obtaining ACCA, CIMA, AAT
