Market Analyst
Miejsce pracy: Warszawa
On a daily basis you will deal with:
  • Monitoring and forecasting marketing and sales trends in a particular industry
  • Crafting and evaluating methods for collecting data, such as customer surveys, questionnaires, and online polls
  • Measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Using statistical software to analyze data related to a particular product or service
  • Gathering data about consumers, competitors, and market conditions
  • Converting complex data into understandable graphs, tables, and written reports
  • Preparing reports and presenting them to internal clients
  • Developing various scenarios of sales strategies and select optimum scenario for future execution
  • Developing the potential market demand plan (short and long term) which meets multiple business needs - including planning, sales, finance, manufacturing and distribution operations, shorten cycle times and reduce inventory obsolescence
  • Development of company portfolio by selecting new products and preparation long term sales forecasts to support new products’ developments

This job is for you if you:

  • Have educational background in Economics or Chemistry
  • Have proficient knowledge of issues related with demand planning
  • Have 2-3 years minimum of experience in market analysis in related job (pharma or chemical industry preferred, additional experience in logistics will be also an advantage)
  • Have good knowledge of statistics and computing 
  • Are proficient in MS office application, SQL preferred, expertise in Excel 
  • Have proficiency in use of analytical tools
  • Have ability to effectively communicate in English and Polish,
  • Have demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts
  • Have strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills.
  • Have outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, and the self-confidence to use these skills to convince others to buy-into proposals
  • Have experience of building strong relationships with staff at all levels and proven success in influencing senior management
  • Have ability to work with critical timelines

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Oracle/SAP Demand Planning or other software related to demand planning
  • Ability to effectively communicate in German
