Junior DWH Developer
Warszawa
Responsibility:
  • Support the users community
  • Responsibility for collecting, collating, and evaluating issues and problems with data.
  • Overseeing the life cycle of a particular set of data.
  • Defining and document data and terminology in a relevant glossary.
  • Ensuring that each critical data element has a clear definition and is still in use.
  • Establishing data-quality metrics and requirements, including defining the values, ranges, and parameters that are acceptable for each data element.
  • Work with the team to establish procedures for detection and correction of data-quality issues and collaborate to establish policies, procedures, and internal controls affecting the quality of data.
  • Engage in the ongoing and detailed evaluation of data quality, the identification of anomalies and discrepancies, and the contribution of expertise to understand the root cause and implement corrective measures.
Requirements:
  • Skills ability to work in Microsoft SQL Server management Studios
  • Knowledge of SQL language in terms of creating queries, making changes in the ETL package and stored procedures maintenance
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Job Agent, maintaining and creating Jobs activity
  • Manual testing of existing and new solutions for data sets and sources
  • Basic knowledge about Microsoft Power Bi and Tabular Models
  • Active Directory management for Users and Computers
  • MDS excel add in administration
  • Knowledge of Excel with pivot and vlookup creation
  • Knowledge of the English language allowing for easy communication
Nice to have:
  • IT graduate or student
  • JSON, SEASHARP, JAVA, PYTHON knowledge
  • German or French knowledge
  • Microsoft Azure knowledge
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Open mind
  • Willingness to learn
