We are looking for a team player with the desire to be an active, long-term contributor in the growth of the accounting team and organization overall.

• Secure compliance with local tax (VAT, CIT) and statutory regulations. Be responsible for timely submission of necessary tax declarations and preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Review and control reconciliation process at monthly / quarterly closing cycles.
• Identify and resolve issues across different sets of financial data.
• Identify opportunities to improve closing activities.
• Generate complex financial reports, according to IFRS standards (monthly, quarterly and annually).
• Identify & provide key financial data to enable decision making at senior leadership level.
• Ensure implementation and understanding of the financial policies and procedures in compliance with local legislation and the company rules.
• Cooperate with internal and external auditors and stakeholders.
• Ensure Internal control is in place, takes a leading role in mitigating tax risks.
• Cooperate with SSC and external tax advisors.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance / Accounting within internationally present service company / companies.
• Very good command of both English and German languages (mandatory requirement).
• Analytical skills with readiness to question the status quo and propose changes and improvements to accounting processes.
• Highly motivated person with a keen eye for detail and accuracy while keeping bigger picture in mind.
• Deep understanding of how operational processes link to the financial statements.
• Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer Literacy: MS Office, particularly Excel, and an ERP system (e.g. Oracle)
• Compliance & controllership orientation.
