An exciting opportunity for a Configuration Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has familiarity with ITIL frameworks and hands-on experience providing configuration management, auditing, and maintaining a configuration library. The primary focus of this role will be maintaining the hardware and software environment for product build, staging, testing and integration for portfolio of applications. 

DAILY TASKS:

  • Ensure an accurate Configuration Management Database while incorporating modernization initiatives
  • Conduct configuration verification, auditing, and reporting activities of IT infrastructure to ensure that information contained in the CMDB is an exact representation of the Configuration Items (CIs)
  • Assisting in improving CM policies, processes and procedures
  • Identify CIs (i.e., hardware, software, documentation configuration items) and enter them into the CMDB

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS: 

  • 3+ years of hands-on configuration management experience (preferably in a Cloud environment / ServiceNow)
  • Understand basic concepts, and assist in documenting hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills
  • Fluent English
  • Self-motivated, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
