Welcome to Market Data Hub team. We are creating a new common approach towards market data, including services that secure, clean, build/derive the data and make it available across the value chain. Market Data is a business-critical service that is required for Nordea to trade, advise clients, calculate risk, conduct research and create reports. We will deliver a well-documented specific market data ownership structure for data management across Nordea.

What you will be doing:

• working on providing best in class tools for data management of Nordea Static Data.
• working with the ETL tool called MarkIT-EDM platform, that with a low coding approach lets you define data and work environment for Data management.
• working on creating the logical and physical data models.
• playing a valuable role in our Agile team by designing and developing solutions in our project that meet business requirements.

You’ll join the development team that cooperates closely with the Product Owner and other business representatives. 

The role is based in Gdańsk; Warsaw.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

• are an expert in physical/logical data modeling.
• have a good knowledge and experience with relational databases such as MS SQL (or similar)
• are experienced with using ETL development tool
• have experience in SQL performance tuning
• are willing to learn some basis C# for creating smaller bit of code to an existing framework to share the data.
• Are willing to participate in our efforts for automated testing.

Your experience and background:  

• very strong knowledge of SQL
• some experience with ETL development
• familiar with tools like Bamboo, GIT, Jira, Ansible
• any experience with building test automation is an advantage
