ABOUT CLIENT
The Swedish company is a provider of services and services for telecommunications operators around the world. It has branches in 175 countries. The company's products include:

  • fixed and mobile network infrastructure,
  • broadband internet,
  • multimedia solutions.

Teams are dispersed, employees and associates work in different time zones. All communication is in English.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Functional and technical testing.
  • Regularly create, execute, and report on manual tests.
  • Work with our development team to quickly identify, log, and follow-up on bugs.
  • Support for Product Owner and Scrum Team in defining Acceptance Criteria for User Stories and translating them into BDD.
  • Self-education about latest trends in software testing.
  • Support and participation in test execution (environment setup, test data preparation, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Soft skills: communication, curiosity.
  • A critical look, Paying attention to details, Experience (predicting potential areas of problems).
  • Knowledge of Defect Management process (including tools like JIRA).
  • ISTQB Certified Tester certification (nice to have).
  • Basic SQL knowledge.
  • Practical usage of testing tools (Postman, Octane ALM, JIRA).
  • Deep understanding of software testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Working with international teams in various time zones.
  • Practical experience at BDD (Behavior Driven Development).
