Candidate profile:
- You have the most transversal technical experience possible, and know-how to take a step back to provide a vision & overview.
- You have a good knowledge of networks (technologies, architecture, standards) and information systems (architectures & urbanism, strategies, methodologies).
- You are aware of multi-supplier integration issues guaranteeing end-to-end control of systems by Orange.
- You have strong skills in software development methodologies, in open source software and experience in software product industrialization.
- You are familiar with the network management activities from theoretical (process, modeling, standardization) and operational (roles & organizations & constraints) points of view.
- You know how to cooperate & influence transversally thanks to good interpersonal skills, you are able to structure and manage an anticipation project so that it becomes an implemented project.
- You are fluent in oral and written English.
Team
Duties and responsibilities:
- You lead the technical strategy in the domain of network management, for midterm but also for short term.
- You will ensure the transverse production of documents to develop the technical strategy around the management of networks. You will have to be proactive in defining the target functional urbanism & roadmap of the domain, facilitating the integration of the different network bricks. You will share these analyzes by explaining them within Networks, Orange Innovation, Business Units, affiliates or other entities (BUY-in, Orane Business Services).
- In this context, some bricks are key to structure urbanism and are common to many requirements and end-to-end processes. It is therefore necessary to start putting these bricks in place from now. This is why you will be responsible for leading the SAM Tooling - Software Asset Management - anticipation project. The aim of this SAM project is to define the strategy for managing network software licenses, as virtualization of networks introduces disruptions in this domain. You will organize the various streams of this project (Use Cases, Architecture, Standardization, Industrialization, Purchasing). The deliverables must be sufficiently completed to allow the industrialization of SAM under good conditions. You will also be a facilitator towards affiliates for industrialization & integration of SAM in local systems.
