Accenture Operations provides business process services for specific functions, including finance and accounting; procurement and supply chain; and marketing & sales. We operate business processes with a combination of talent and data, artificial intelligence, analytics and digital technologies, helping clients to improve their productivity, customer experience and performance.
- Accounting operations in RTR area (General Ledger & Subledgers) in accordance with US GAAP/ SOX controls,
- Review of both B/S and P/L for errors, omissions or inconsistencies, variance analysis,
- Balance sheet accounts reconciliation process (i.e. bank, payroll, taxes, accruals, ICO)
- Preparation and posting of journal entries
- Accruals & Prepaids Accounting
- Fixed Assets accounting
- Identifying and solving common cross-process (PTP, OTC, T&E) issues
- Tax reporting
- Supporting internal & external audit
- Recommendation and implementation of process improvements ideas
- Fluent English
- 2-3 years of accounting experience or professional qualification/education
- Ability to work under pressure, manage tight reporting deadlines
- Analytical skills
- Good Excel knowledge, VBA skills would be an additional asset
- Flexibility, especially in the period of month/year end closing
- Shared service/BPO experience is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus (SAP/Oracle)
- Teamwork skills
- Very good English and Spanish (at least B2 level).
- High accuracy and focus on details.
- Ability to work analytically in a problem-solving environment as well as ability to plan, organize and perform work in accordance with the targets.
- Good knowledge of Excel and Word
- Educational background in finance, accounting or economy is an advantage but not necessary
- Experience in customer service/ accounting will be an asset
