ROLE PURPOSE
This position is accountable for:

  • Managing the quality delivery of multiple technical projects using the defined project management standards and practices.
  • Working with the Reckitt team and outsourced partners to ensure that specific projects are delivered on time and to budget.
  • Managing Technical resources (including third-parties) involved with the project.
  • Engaging key stakeholders to ensure that the correct requirements are identified and delivered to the required standards.

SCOPE

  • Technical project management and creation, management of project plans and project documentation e.g. PID, Architecture Documents, Project plans, Testing.
  • Global Stakeholder engagement to define the scope of the key deliverables and any prioritisation required to meet the overall project goals.
  • Managing the expectation of stakeholders and other workstreams that may have interdependencies with the deliverables with the project.
  • Managing vendors to deliver technical components of projects.
  • Project reporting and communications including formal presentations when required.
  • Review of Technical documentation including high level designs and architecture specifications (with assistance from SMEs).
  • Oversight of test plans and scripts where appropriate to support projects.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Project management experience.
  • Experience working in remote / virtual Global teams with diverse geographic project delivery.
  • Managing complex vendor lead projects with multiple dependant workstreams within the terms of the contract.
  • Managing outsourced providers to the agreed outcomes defined in the contract.
  • Good experience of infrastructure technology deployment into production environments.
  • Experience of managing outsourced project and support teams including service transition of complex solutions into third-party operations.
  • Solid IT Infrastructure delivery background – ideally with understanding of different technologies which could include: Windows 10 and Server, Office 365 (Deployments / Migrations), SCCM / Intune, Networking, Video conferencing and VOIP, Datacentre and Cloud hosting, Identity and application access (eg Active Directory / SAML).
  • Experience working in remote / virtual Global teams with diverse geographic project delivery.
  • Strong commercial focus and ability to manage budgets.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and activities, building robust project plans and resourcing schedules.
  • Risk, Issue and dependency management and mitigations.
  • Ability to produce high quality documentation.
  • Ability to manage vendors to meet aggressive timelines.
