We are looking for you if:
  • You have experience with development of credit risk models (mainly credit risk parameters )
  • You have good communication skills, including knowledge sharing
  • You are fluent in English
  • You have a MSc degree or PhD in e.g. mathematics, physics, econometrics, quantitative methods or analogical
  • You have good knowledge of statistics and/or mathematics
  • You are result and delivery oriented
  • You have a focus on delivering pragmatic and feasible solutions
You'll get extra points for:
  • Vast Experience with IRB modelling
  • Knowledge of guidelines and regulations dedicated for IRB modelling published by ECB or EBA
  • Knowledge of banking and financial industry, financial and lending products, and processes
  • Good programming skills, preferably in SAS, Python, R
  • You are an independent, creative and pro-active mind-set
  • You have skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders (with non-technical background)
  • You have organizational skills to work in a structured way and maintain focus on the broader picture
Information about squad:
 
The Model Development Area is a dynamic team of highly qualified professionals in credit risk modelling. We are looking for experts who would like to share their expertise and at the same time gain unique experience in international environment (e.g. IRB models meeting ECB&EBA criteria and IFRS9 models). On daily basis you will cooperate with units responsible for methodology development as well as redevelopment of models. The position offers excellent opportunities to take your model development skills to the next level.

Scope of duties
40%- Cooperation with development teams responsiblefor model redevelopment and monitoring aswell as with teams responsible fordevelopment of methodology for ING Group
30%- Preparation of materials for trainings,workshops and presentations

30%- Conducting trainings, workshops andpresentations for ING Group employees
