For our Client European Border and Coast Guard Agency we are looking for:
Statistician in the Situational Awareness and Monitoring Division / Risk Analysis Unit
Location: Warszawa
Reference Number: S/SAMD/RAU/2021
Key responsibilities of the position:
- Ensure administrative support in administrative procedures
- Coordinate the document flow and assist in archiving
- Draft notes, letters, reports
- Prepare statistical reports, analysis of statistical tables, charts and graphs
- Systematic collection and compilation as well as interpretation of numerical data
- Assist in the interpretation and evaluation of research results
- Develop easy-to-analyse sampling techniques and processes
- Carry out data entry of electronic databases
- Support in preparation and evaluation of internal training activities
- Assist in correspondence, mission and agenda management
- Support the preparation of analytical documents
- Support in the preparation of statistical data, tables, graphs and charts
- Analytical support to the assigned sector and teams
- Assist to arrange meetings, venues, video conferences
- Supporting the analyst to prepare briefing notes and power point presentations for meetings and conferences
- Assisting the analysts in the team during their daily activities
- Monitoring open source and operational information on a daily basis
- Summarizing and analysing information collected from different sources and incorporating them into other analytical documents.
- Assisting the analysts to develop more complex operational analysis on different indicators.
Requirements:
- Successfully completed secondary education related to statistics, economics or econometrics (at least bachelor degree)
- Experience: at least 2 years of professional experience in statistical consulting
- Very good skills in the main MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Vry good command of both written and spoken English (at least B2)
- Computer skills: proficiency in the Statistical Analysis System (SAS)
- Very good knowledge of the main MS Office software
(Excel, Word, Outlook)
