Job description

• Taking care about overall production process: production in Poland and international
• Definition and respect of production budgets
• Establishes production and logistics planning. Ensures respect of planning by suppliers. Follows up production realization and deliveries
• Management of suppliers on a daily basis
• Project management:
  • Coordinates different internal and external actors during the project realisation.
  • Closely collaborates with the Marketing & Editing functions
• Taking care about local and international transport (ordering transport, checking bookings, delivery, documents etc)
• Collecting and analysing offers for new products
• Warehouse management
• Logistics management
• Keeping production documentation
• Control of production invoices and document workflow

Subordinate: 1 logistic specialist

Requirements

The Candidate

• Engineering education or any other technical university degree
• At least 5 year’s experience in technical purchasing/subcontracting, or in production and packing operations ideally in one of the following sectors: printing / publishing industry, partworks / marketing gadgets, consumer goods
• Understanding of constraints of press publishing
• Experience in working with suppliers and subcontractors
• Used to work closely with factories
• Used to work in a multi-cultural environment, on cross-functional projects
• Experience in working closely with the marketing and editorial function
• Understanding of packaging operations, quality control procedures, production planning
• Experience in project management. Used to work with Western working methods
• Excellent personal organisation, serious and autonomous
• Very good communication skills.
• Team player
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
