Finance Maganer / Chief Accountant

WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING
- Managing the Accounting Department and supervising colleagues in our plants and local structure in Poland
- Country lead for implementation of group-standard Accounting software, restructuring of respective work processes
- Preparation of management & financial reports as per the group standards and as per the local accounting standards, reconciliations between management reporting and accounting.
- Preparation and participation in works related to the audit of annual financial statements by a statutory auditor and participation in other audits and controls related to the company's accounting and finances
- Participation in the month-/year-end closing process in close cooperation with the controlling department
- Cooperation with external institutions and tax authorities
- Supervision of all accounting processes and tax settlements correctness
- Responsibility for transfer pricing documentation
- Supervision of the process of the annual inventory of stocks
- Participation in ongoing optimization and development projects
WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in the accounting area within an international company
- Experience in a similar role at a manufacturing industry will be an asset
- An academic degree in the field (accounting, finance)
- Good knowledge of Polish accounting law
- Fluent English
- Fluent use of the MS Office suite, especially MS Excel
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Good interpersonal skills and proven track of leading people
- B category driver’s license
