Production Manager

WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING
- Leading the production department and being responsible for approximately 180 employees, which includes also to make sure that all production related processes are running according to the defined framework & KPIs
- In close cooperation with quality, maintenance and all other departments you are working on permanent improvement of processes, quality and operational excellence
- Ensuring adequate efficiency and effectiveness of production lines and the quality of manufactured products
- Taking care that documentation and reporting in our systems is done correctly as well as overlooking the budget for the production area
- Responsible for sustainable training programs linked to qualification and development of employees to guarantee the appropriate level of knowledge and skills
- Responsible to act according to legal requirements, ensure a Health and safety work environment as well as implement all requests from external audits and certifications
WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT
- Completed technical education (engineering degree or similar)
- Experience as a production manager in a manufacturing plant in similar or comparable industry (>4 years of experience)
- Knowledge of methods of managing production processes (Lean Manufacturing, 5s)
- Ability to make decisions, also under time pressure and within complex tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership competence;
- Hands-on mentality is a must as well as problem solving skills and high grade of flexibility and stress resistance
- A very good command of English as a necessary condition
