- Creation of payment proposals and submission of all payments (external payments and in-house cash)
- Make payments via City direct and other platforms
- Ensuring that all payments have been processed successfully
- Identifying rejected payments, investigating the root cause
- Contact with Citibank to log queries and address payment issues
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Liaise with business partners
- Working with Accounts Receivable to submit Customer Direct Debits to the bank and process
- University degree ( preferably Accounting and Finance) completed or work in progress
- Previous accounting experience is not required but will be a huge plus
- Eagerness to work, learn and can do attitude will be praised
- Ability to independently handle tasks and assignments
- Effective communications skills
- Strong command of English Language (written and spoken)
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of SAP will be a plus
- Accounting qualification (completed or WIP) is a plus
