Location: mainly remote, with occasional office presence needed (Warsaw Office)

• Participation in preparation of annual financial accounts with notes for Polish legal entities according to Polish Accounting Principles including balance sheet, income statement, changes in equity and cash flow
• Coordination and participation in Polish statutory and tax audits
• Cooperation with external consultants in preparation of annual financial statements for legal entities in Romania and Bulgaria, including management and support of related statutory audits
• Reconciliation of accounts including accruals, calculation and posting of statutory adjustments
• Review and maintenance of Fixed Assets Register (capitalization, depreciation, retire-ments)
• Coordination and participation in preparation of annual CIT returns
• Coordination and participation of other tax reporting – provide required information and participate in compliance procedures
• Statistical reporting to National Statistical Office
• Daily statutory accounting activities and period end review and close processing
• Ad-hoc reporting and other accounting queries

• +3 years of work experience – related to statutory and tax reporting, preferably in large multinational organizations
• First level university degree with a focus in business or economics, advanced degree and accounting certification or master’s degree in accounting and auditing/controlling.
• Solid knowledge of Polish accounting principles and CIT Act
• Strong computing skills; advanced Excel required; experience in using SAP S4 Hana would be an advantage
• Good command of English
